What kind of day are you having? If you are like me today, you have so many things on your “to-do” list that there is no way they will all be done.

In Judges 4, Deborah was having a busy day. As the judge-prophetess for Isreal, she was busy solvings disputes for the people when God spoke to her. She sent for Barak, the commander of Isreal’s army. God told her to assemble an army and attack the Canaanites because God would hand Sisera to them. But, Barak was only willing to fight if Deborah went with them.

Deborah’s faith in God became the strength of 10,000 as she cried

Go! This is the day the Lord has given Sisera into your hands. Has not the Lord gone ahead of you?”

By reading the rest of Judges 4, you will find that Deborah and Barak were successful. God speaks to us in different ways today, we just need to be sure to listen. No matter what kind of day you are having or what tasks are ahead of you, try to listen to what God is trying to tell you. And remember: Go! The Lord has gone ahead of you!
